Chapter 40

Happy New Year!!!!

My how time flies...

It's another year, guys! What are your goals for 2018? Do you plan to kick off the new year with realistic goals or lazy resolutions? I choose goals! My 40th birthday was yesterday. I spent the day enjoying life. Someone wasn't as fortunate. I'm thankful--grateful that I'm still here. I don't take for granted the things that I've been blessed with, and I don't plan to start.  

This year--my chapter 40, I plan to live like never before. I plan to spend more time with the people who love me and want to see me be my best self. I plan to capture the hearts of new readers with my new books, and gain new supporters along the way. I've never been a people-pleaser, but how I'm seen is something I take very seriously. Let's face it, someone is always watching. Perception is a son-of-a-bitch! 

I know you've probably heard this before, but maybe you didn't grasp it then. I'll say it again for you. Step OUTSIDE of the box. Do something different--inspiring, invigorating. Take the art class you've always wanted to take. Go on that exotic vacation. Dance in the rain. Laugh at yourself in the mirror. Walk outside naked in your backyard. Stop making excuses. Life's not meant for that! 

If you want to go back to school, do it. If you want to write that book, I'm here to help. Dream big then wake up on PURPOSE. We are all here for a divine assignment. Seek yours! Tap into it, and watch it manifest. Stop blaming others for our mistakes, and do better. I'm not preaching or yelling, I'm merely motivating myself while inspiring others. We are all meant for greatness!

Today, the 2nd day of 2018, decide that you are more--your want more--you deserve more. I'll be right alongside of you all the way. No journey is easy. If it was, there would be chaos and a world full of conceited-arrogance. We have enough of that. LOL And don't give me that it's too late BS. As long as you're still breathing it's never too late. 

It's okay to chose YOU! Now I'm not saying abandon your family and friends. I'm saying it's okay to put yourself first sometimes. It's okay to spend time with yourself. Get to know who you are. We change, so the person you were five years ago probably isn't the person reading this blog post right now. And that's perfectly okay. I double-dog dare you!!!!
